Single-sensor cameras sensitive to ultraviolet light
JAI’s UV cameras can dive deep into the ultraviolet light spectrum making surface artifacts appear in greater clarity and allowing visualization of smaller features than those which can be seen using visible light. JAI offers several UV sensitive cameras with global shutter to fit specific resolution, speed, and interface requirements.
These UV industrial cameras have CMOS imagers with quartz glass coverings to provide sensor protection while allowing UV wavelengths to reach the photosensitive elements with minimal transmission loss. For laser applications, the 8.1-megapixel model is available without cover glass.
Available interfaces include Camera Link, USB3 Vision, GigE Vision, and GigE Vision over 5GBASE-T (5GigE).
