Single-sensor cameras sensitive to ultraviolet light
JAI’s UV cameras can dive deep into the ultraviolet light spectrum making surface artifacts appear in greater clarity, and allowing visualization of smaller features than those which can be seen using visible light.
JAI offers a number of UV sensitive progressive area scan cameras to fit specific resolution, speed, and optical requirements.
These UV industrial cameras typically have either glassless CCD imagers to enable sensitivity below 400 nanometers, or quartz-covered sensors to provide both extended sensitivity and better protection against damage.
JAI can provide you with a UV inspection cameras with 1.4 megapixels resolution, and with analog, Camera Link, or GigE Vision interfaces.
C-Series: Compact value-oriented 1.4 megapixel CCD cameras with UV sensitivity.
CV-Series: The CV-A1-UV model is a special ultraviolet camera, with increased sensitivity at wavelengths as short as 150 nm.
* Note: Models with 'YES' in the ROI column can be adjusted to lower resolutions at higher frame rates. For more information, please download the frame rate calculator available on the specific product pager or consult JAI for assistance.
