The SW-4000T-CXPA is a high-performance prism-based industrial RGB color line scan camera, delivering 4,096 pixels per line at a fast 97 kHz line rate via a high-speed CoaXPress 2.0 CXP-12 interface. Its 3-CMOS prism design uses three separate sensors to simultaneously capture the red, green, and blue spectral bands. Packed with advanced features, it ensures exceptional performance and precision for web-based and continuous color imaging applications.
The 4K line scan camera utilizes a high-speed CoaXPress 2.0 CXP-12 interface, providing true R-G-B output at up to 97 kHz (97,000 lines per second) through a single Micro-BNC connector, with support for Power-over-CoaXPress. The interface also supports CXP-6 and CXP-3.
Through advanced in-camera prism technology, light is efficiently separated into red, green, and blue spectrums, each captured by a dedicated CMOS sensor. This imaging technique minimizes color crosstalk, delivering exceptional color differentiation and superior color precision compared to trilinear line scan technology.
The SW-4000T-CXPA color line scan camera is equipped with advanced features, including user-selectable pixel sizes, in-camera RGB color space conversion to HSI, XYZ, sRGB, Adobe RGB and custom formats, as well as vertical dual-line binning and 2x horizontal binning. Additionally, it supports direct connectivity to rotary encoders, streamlining setup and operation.
3-CMOS prism-based camera with simultaneous imaging of R-G-B via a single optical path.
4096 pixels per line at up to 97 kHz for 8-bit uncompressed RGB output.
CoaXPress 2.0, CXP-12 Micro-BNC interface. The interface also supports CXP-6 and CXP-3 configuration.
Camera can be powered over the CoaXPress interface or via the 12-pin Hirose-compatible connector. Also supports triggering through the same single CoaXPress cable.
Output formats include 8-bit RGB, 10-bit RGB, and compressed YUV422_8.
Two user-selectable pixel sizes. Choice between 7.5 μm x 7.5 μm or 7.5 μm x 10.5 μm to further enhance sensitivity and dynamic range.
Vertical dual-line binning and 2x horizontal binning for improved light sensitivity (Binning options: 1x2, 2x1, or 2x2).
Built-in color space conversion from RGB to HSI, CIE XYZ, sRGB, Adobe RGB, and custom RGB formats.
Possible to increase scan rates by applying Region-of-Interest (ROI) setting (in steps of 16 pixels).
Supports direct connection to rotary encoders when connecting via frame grabber is undesirable.
One-push automatic white balancing by gain or exposure.
Image processing includes PRNU/DSNU, black level, flat shading and color shading correction, chromatic aberration adjustment, horizontal mirroring, and noise filtering.
Sturdy design (vibration 3G and shock 50G) for reliable operation.
F-mount or M52 mount.

The HR10A-10P-12S is a universal connector used for power and control signals for many JAI cameras. The connector is a female plug, with sockets, that mates to the connector on the back of the camera. It has soldering cups for easy assembly of custom cables.
This cable features flying leads on one end and a Hirose 12-pin connector on the other wired to match the pinout of JAI cameras with 12-pin connectors. The flying leads enable power to be supplied via two of the Hirose pins, while the remaining wires/pins can be utilized to access various I/O functions of JAI cameras (see individual camera datasheets/manuals for functions accessible through the Hirose connectors).
The cables can be used with JAI’s own “flying leads” power supplies, or with third-party or custom power supply systems.
The Sweep+ Series line scan cameras are the ideal choice if you have imaging applications where you need very accurate color imaging via separate R-G-B color channels.
Ensuring flawless batteries is essential for safety, preserving energy density, and preventing premature degradation. The camera can be used for detecting defects on electrode sheets, including scratches, dents, craters, inclusions, bubbles, and holes.
Color and quality assessment of frozen foods, rice grains, coffee beans, nuts, peas, cereals, tea, and tobacco.
Sorting of waste materials like glass, plastic, cans, and polymer materials to remove contaminants and organize for reuse.
Inspection of color print materials on web presses, including magazines, brochures, flyers, packaging, and currency.
Inspection of roll-based products such as paper, plastic, textiles, and films. Additional applications include inspecting wood, tile glaze, rubber, roofing materials, and glass.
