The SW-4000Q-10GE is a 4-CMOS prism-based industrial RGB/NIR color line scan camera with four separate sensors for simultaneously capturing red, green, blue and near infrared spectral wavebands. Besides delivering supreme RGB color data, the NIR image makes it possible to identify an even wider set of defects on inspected objects. The camera has 4,096 pixels per line and a fast, 72 kHz line rate thanks to a high speed 10 GigE interface. Included is an advanced set of features providing the best possible performance and precision for web-based or continuous color/NIR imaging applications.
The SW-4000Q-10GE combines the color accuracy of 4-CMOS prism technology with a super fast 10 GigE interface providing true RGB + NIR output at up to 72 kHz. Intelligent auto-negotiation adjusts to support NBASE-T speeds (5 GigE / 2.5 GigE), as well as traditional 1 Gbps GigE Vision output.
Prism technology makes it possible to view the red, green, blue and NIR channels through a single optical plane. This method eliminates off-angle viewing problems, spatial compensation issues, 3D cylindrical offsets, and other problems that can affect image quality with trilinear cameras.
The SW-4000Q-10GE is one of the only 4k color/NIR line scan cameras to offer user-selectable pixel sizes, in-camera color space conversion, and both horizontal and vertical binning. It also supports direct connection to rotary encoders to simplify setup and operation.
4-CMOS prism-based camera with simultaneous imaging of R/G/B + NIR via a single optical path.
4096 pixels per line at up to 72 kHz for 8-bit RGB + NIR output.

The HR10A-10P-12S is a universal connector used for power and control signals for many JAI cameras. The connector is a female plug, with sockets, that mates to the connector on the back of the camera. It has soldering cups for easy assembly of custom cables.
This cable features flying leads on one end and a Hirose 12-pin connector on the other wired to match the pinout of JAI cameras with 12-pin connectors. The flying leads enable power to be supplied via two of the Hirose pins, while the remaining wires/pins can be utilized to access various I/O functions of JAI cameras (see individual camera datasheets/manuals for functions accessible through the Hirose connectors).
The cables can be used with JAI’s own “flying leads” power supplies, or with third-party or custom power supply systems.
The 10P-10M-AUX is 10-meter cable for JAI cameras equipped with a 10-pin Hirose “auxiliary” connector. The plug at one end of the cable connects to the 10-pin connector on the back of the JAI camera. Flying leads at the other end of the cable can be used to send/receive TTL signals to/from specific pins on the auxiliary connector. Not all I/O functions may be supported depending on the pinout of each camera model. Check the pinout carefully or consult with JAI before purchasing.

The Sweep+ Series line scan cameras are the ideal choice if you have imaging applications where you need very accurate color imaging via separate R-G-B color channels.
Bulk inspection of fruit and vegetables looking at size, colors, ripeness and damage for precise sorting and grading.
Color and quality inspection of frozen food, rice grains, coffee beans, peas, cereals, tea and tobacco.
Wafer geometry and surface inspection for early defect detection. Also surface inspection of flat panels/displays looking for scratches and defective screen pixels.
Sorting of colored materials like glass, plastic, cans, and polymer materials to remove contaminants and organize for reuse.
Color inspection of magazines and pharmaceutical packaging as well as currency inspection looking at color correctness.
“Unwrapping” of cylindrical items such as cans, bottles, pens etc. for 360-degree label inspection.
Web inspection of roll-based products including paper, plastic, textiles. Also inspection of wood, tile glaze and glass inspection.
