Integrated lens or 3-axis control

The RM-675NIR features an integrated 3-axis control function that can link the camera to auto-iris, auto-focus, and auto-zoom controls or can be used to operate pan & tilt heads or other motorized equipment.

Advanced exposure control for dynamic lighting conditions

RM Series cameras were among the first JAI cameras to offer an Auto Level Control (ALC) option, which combines auto-shutter, auto-gain, and auto-iris into a single integrated function for maximum control over exposure and image quality in outdoor applications or other dynamic lighting conditions.

Small, rugged, and proven in real-world applications

RM Series cameras have been proven in a wide range of industrial, defense, and homeland security applications. Options include conformal coating for damp or high humidity environments and extended temperature capabilities ranging from -40°C to +65°C.

Features

  • Interlaced CCIR CCD camera with 1/2” optical format.

  • 752 x 582 resolution at 25 fps.

  • Large 8.6 x 8.3-micron pixels offer excellent NIR sensitivity and image contrast.

  • Single 15-pin connector for power, camera control, and video output.

  • All camera features controllable via RS-232 commands over this single interface cable.

  • Integrated 3-axis control for lenses or other motorized accessories.

Here are a few applications where RM Series industrial cameras are especially suitable

RM Series cameras are the perfect starting point for a wide range of machine vision applications.

Situational awareness

Remote lens control, integration with pan & tilt heads, and enhanced NIR sensitivity make RM Series cameras well-suited to applications that exceed the reach of standard security cameras.

Factory automation equipment

Systems that need to maintain traditional video standard output for compatibility or training reasons, benefit from the traditional CCIR output capability.

Electronics inspection

RM Series cameras feature mounting holes on all four sides, plus mirror image capabilities to make them easily adapt to a wide range of sorting or inspection systems.

Vehicle-mounted cameras

RM Series cameras help aircraft, ground vehicles, and watercraft monitor the world around them while watching for other vehicles and structures.
