JAI's FSFE-3200D-10GE model is a 2-CMOS multispectral prism camera design that you can customize to meet the needs of your application. It features two, prism-mounted 3.2-megapixel CMOS imagers that are aligned to a common optical path for perfect image registration regardless of motion or viewing angle. The Flex-Eye concept lets you create your own custom version of this camera. You define the width and location for each of the camera's two wavebands, placing them all in the visible spectrum or in a combination of visible and NIR locations required to maximize the effectiveness of your vision system for multispectral inspection or analysis.
With Flex-Eye you can custom design your own multispectral camera, getting simultaneous imaging of visible or visible plus near infrared wavebands fine-tuned to your specific application. For each of the 2-CMOS sensors you can define the spectral location and width of the waveband within the spectral range of 405 nm to 1000 nm. Learn more about Flex-Eye multispectral customization options and explore the waveband configurator.
The new generation of JAI’s multispectral Fusion cameras provides four times higher resolution than previous models and sets a new standard for frame rates (123 frames/s in full resolution) thanks to the use of a fast “Pregius" sensor (IMX252), as well as the use of a high-speed 10 GigE interface.
JAI’s multispectral prism technology ensures perfect three-channel alignment, allowing users to replace multiple inspection stations with a single setup, providing both ease of use and lower equipment and maintenance costs. All designed to lead to better efficiency, productivity, and quality of your vision system.
Multispectral prism-based 2-CMOS area scan camera for simultaneous imaging of 2 wavebands in the visible or visible plus NIR spectral range.
Customize each waveband for a precise match to your inspection or imaging application.
Define 2 custom wavebands anywhere between 405-1000 nanometers (nm). Bayer sensor options for waveband located in visible region.
Set wavebands as narrow as 25 nm at 5 nm increments.
Easy to use on-line configurator for smooth project start-up.
2 x 3.2-megapixel resolution at up to 123 frames/s.
Backwards-compatible 10GBASE-T (10 GigE) interface auto-negotiates to match the speed of connected equipment including NBASE-T (5 GigE and 2.5 GigE) and standard 1 Gbps 1000BASE-T GigE Vision.
Separate exposure control for each channel allows the channels to be adjusted to one another without changes in the gain – maintaining a consistent signal-to-noise ratio at all times.
Sequencer function for on-the–fly change of gain, exposure and ROI settings.
Supports IEEE 1588 Precision Time Protocol for synchronization in multi-camera applications.
Supports separate or unified control of key camera parameters for each channel.
Dual-stream output enables both wavebands to be simultaneously output over a single cable.
Single- and multi-ROI modes provide higher speeds with lower processing loads.
Excellent shock and vibration resistance with high MTBF for supreme reliability and durability giving low-cost of ownership.

A universal power supply that works with all JAI cameras equipped with a 12-pin Hirose power connector. Four versions are available:
PD-12UUP U.S. plug with 12-pin Hirose connector to camera
PD-12UEP European plug with 12-pin Hirose connector to camera
PD-12UU U.S. plug, flying leads (no 12-pin connector)
PD-12UE European plug, flying leads (no 12-pin connector)

This cable features flying leads on one end and a Hirose 12-pin connector on the other wired to match the pinout of JAI cameras with 12-pin connectors. The flying leads enable power to be supplied via two of the Hirose pins, while the remaining wires/pins can be utilized to access various I/O functions of JAI cameras (see individual camera datasheets/manuals for functions accessible through the Hirose connectors).
The cables can be used with JAI’s own “flying leads” power supplies, or with third-party or custom power supply systems.
Tripod adapter for Fusion Series cameras and some discontinued models with 40 mm spacing between mounting holes.
Only use the supplied M3 screws having the proper length. Using longer screws can damage internal circuit boards.
The 10P-10M-AUX is 10-meter cable for JAI cameras equipped with a 10-pin Hirose “auxiliary” connector. The plug at one end of the cable connects to the 10-pin connector on the back of the JAI camera. Flying leads at the other end of the cable can be used to send/receive TTL signals to/from specific pins on the auxiliary connector. Not all I/O functions may be supported depending on the pinout of each camera model. Check the pinout carefully or consult with JAI before purchasing.

Fusion Series Flex-Eye area scan cameras are the ideal choice if you have multispectral imaging applications needing customized visible or visible plus NIR wavebands to optimize their effectiveness.
Inspection of nuts, almonds, and olives The color, size, shape and damage nuts and almonds can be inspected using the RGB channel, while foreign objects (including olive pits) are more clearly seen with the NIR channel.
Multispectral analysis helps identify specific types of cells, viruses, or other entities that may be difficult to classify in a single spectral band.
Many surgical systems are utilizing fluorescence compounds injected into blood vessels or surrounding tissues and excited by a laser to highlight areas that can be overlaid on the surgeon’s visible color image to guide the operation.
Precision agriculture or intelligent farming has seen an exponential growth in the recent years. Removal of weeds or wild plants is of growing importance in intelligent farming and multi-spectral cameras are playing a vital role.
Color inspection of magazines and pharmaceutical packaging as well as currency inspection looking at color correctness, water marks and security features woven into bank notes.
Inspection of stuffed PCB boards including traces, solder, component placement/alignment, shorting, and other items where color and NIR inspection is important.
Fruit and vegetable inspection that simultaneously look at colors, ripeness, damages, signs of rot under skin, as well as detecting foreign objects (e.g. stones, metal pieces etc.)
Surface inspection of flat panels/displays looking for scratches and defective screen pixels.
