Cost-efficient solution

The new Sweep SW-16001M-MCL camera model delivers premium performance at an affordable price. With robust construction, high-resolution imaging, and built-in processing, it ensures reliable operation and reduced integration costs—perfect for demanding industrial environments.

Enhanced sensitivity with 2-step TDI

The 2-step TDI (Time Delay Integration) function enhances image quality in high-speed or low-light applications by using two lines of pixels to capture the same scene line in sequence. By combining the signals from each line, it significantly increases the amount of light collected —resulting in improved sensitivity and high-quality images in high-speed or low-light conditions.

Compact size

The compact design of the camera ensures easier integration into tight or confined spaces. With efficient thermal management that eliminates the need for an external heat sink, it simplifies system setup and supports cleaner, more streamlined installations—without compromising on performance.

Features

  • 16K line scan resolution (2 x 16,384 monochrome pixels).

  • 57.3 mm vide sensor with 3.5 µm square pixels.

Typical applications

The typical applications for the SW-16001M-MCL monochrome line scan camera are:

Glass Inspection

The 16k line scan camera detects surface defects like scratches and cracks, measures thickness uniformity, inspects edges for chips or fractures, and identifies coating issues and shape misalignments, making it ideal for comprehensive glass inspection.

Film inspection

Defect-free film is essential for battery safety and performance. The 16k line scan camera detects scratches, bubbles, coating flaws, particles, and edge cracks, ensuring reliable film inspection in battery manufacturing.

Paper surface inspection

In paper production, visual inspections play a crucial role in ensuring product quality and minimizing defects. Main types of paper inspection include surface scratches, holes, dirt spots, thickness variation, or moisture marks.

PCB inspection

In PCB manufacturing, AOI inspection is essential for detecting defects after the etching and cleaning of the circuit layer. Main types of PCB inspection include short circuits, open circuits, notches, pinholes, copper slag, line width issues, line spacing errors, hole ring defects, and missing features.
