45-megapixel area scan camera
The SP-45000M-CXP4 provides 44.7-megapixel monochrome resolution at a market-leading 51 frames per second and supports full 8K resolution at 65 frames per second. Built around the OnSemi XGS 45000 CMOS imager, it offers a rare combination of high resolution, high frame rate, and high image quality, well suited to a wide range of high performance applications.
Ideal blend of resolution and speed
Delivering 8192 x 5460 pixels at 51 fps and 8K TV resolution at 65 fps, the SP-45000-CXP4’s combination of speed and resolution makes it ideal for flat panel inspection, sports, mapping, electronics, high-end surveillance, and many other applications where detailed analyses are required across a wide area.
Built-in functions for HDR imaging
With an exceptionally low dark noise rating (<5e-), the SP-45000-CXP4 boasts 67 dB of standard dynamic range, extendable to 73 dB by built-in linear or knee-point HDR functions for both monochrome and color models.
Frame averaging for reduced shot noise
For applications that demand the highest possible image quality, the SP-45000-CXP4 features a Frame Integration mode that can average the exposures of up to 8 sequential frames to dramatically reduce the amount of shot noise in the image.

PD-12 Power Supply
A universal power supply that works with all JAI cameras equipped with a 12-pin Hirose power connector. Four versions are available:
PD-12UUP U.S. plug with 12-pin Hirose connector to camera
PD-12UEP European plug with 12-pin Hirose connector to camera
PD-12UU U.S. plug, flying leads (no 12-pin connector)
PD-12UE European plug, flying leads (no 12-pin connector)
MP-42 Tripod Mounting Plate
Tripod adapter features mounting holes to fit spacing on Spark Series and (discontinued) Elite Series housings. Standard 1/4-20 attachment to tripods. Includes M3 screws (Depth 5). Only use the supplied screws or other screws having the proper length. Using longer screws can damage internal circuit boards.
PC-12P Hirose 12-pin Connector
The HR10A-10P-12S is a universal connector used for power and control signals for many JAI cameras. The connector is a female plug, with sockets, that mates to the connector on the back of the camera. It has soldering cups for easy assembly of custom cables.
12P-02S Power Cable
This cable features flying leads on one end and a Hirose 12-pin connector on the other wired to match the pinout of JAI cameras with 12-pin connectors. The flying leads enable power to be supplied via two of the Hirose pins, while the remaining wires/pins can be utilized to access various I/O functions of JAI cameras (see individual camera datasheets/manuals for functions accessible through the Hirose connectors).
The cables can be used with JAI’s own “flying leads” power supplies, or with third-party or custom power supply systems.
HS-01 Heat Sink
The HS-01 is a passive heat sink compatible with Spark Series high resolution camera models, such as SP-45000-CXP4, SP-45000-CXP4A, and SP-25000-CXP4A. When a combination of high frame rates and warm environmental conditions result in internal camera temperatures exceeding the recommended levels, the HS-01 can be attached to the exterior surface of the camera to more effectively transfer heat away from the camera to improve image quality and avoid any risk of overheating.
10P-10M-AUX Auxiliary TTL cable
The 10P-10M-AUX is 10-meter cable for JAI cameras equipped with a 10-pin Hirose “auxiliary” connector. The plug at one end of the cable connects to the 10-pin connector on the back of the JAI camera. Flying leads at the other end of the cable can be used to send/receive TTL signals to/from specific pins on the auxiliary connector. Not all I/O functions may be supported depending on the pinout of each camera model. Check the pinout carefully or consult with JAI before purchasing.
