    Getting started with the eBUS SDK .NET API


    Sample Applications

    All samples are located in the SDK installation under the share\samples\dotnet_samples\ directory.

    Sample Description
    ConfigurationReader Loading and saving device configurations using PvConfigurationReader and PvConfigurationWriter.
    ConnectionRecovery Automatic connection recovery and event handling. Shows PvDeviceEventSink usage.
    DeviceFinder Device discovery and selection using PvSystem. Shows how to enumerate GigE Vision and USB3 Vision devices.
    DeviceSerialPort Serial port communication through device using PvDeviceSerial.
    EventSample GenICam event monitoring and handling.
    FirmwareUpdater Device firmware update using PvDeviceAdapter.
    GenICamParameters Access and modify GenICam parameters using PvGenParameterArray. Demonstrates reading/writing device settings.
    ImageProcessing Image format conversion and processing using PvBufferConverter.
    MulticastMaster/Slave GigE Vision multicast streaming setup for one-to-many transmission.
    MultiSource Acquiring from multiple devices simultaneously with multiple streams and pipelines.
    PvPipelineSample Complete acquisition pipeline using PvPipeline for automated buffer management.
    Demonstrates device connection, stream setup, and image acquisition.
    PvStreamSample Manual buffer management using PvStream directly without PvPipeline. Shows low-level control of buffer queuing.
    SoftDeviceGEV* Virtual GigE Vision device samples using PvVirtualDevice: simple streaming, chunk data, multi-part, and trigger modes.

    Building the Samples Each sample includes a .csproj file that can be opened in Visual Studio 2022 or later.

    All samples target .NET 8.0.

    To build and run a sample:

    1. Open the sample's .csproj file in Visual Studio
    2. Build the solution (the required eBUSDotNet assemblies are referenced from the SDK installation)
    3. Connect a compatible device or use a virtual device sample
    4. Run the sample application
