The BM-500GE (monochrome) and BB-500GE (color) are 5-megapixel cameras offering rugged construction and a combination of features capable of supporting a wide range of traffic applications.
The cameras utilize the Sony ICX625 CCD and operate at 15 frames/second in continuous mode even with a 5 megapixel resolution, thanks to a well-crafted analog front end design.
Reset continuous triggering (edge-dump) enables the cameras to operate in continuous mode while awaiting a trigger signal. This allows triggering to be used without sacrificing the cameras’ various auto exposure capabilities including auto-shutter and auto-iris control.
The cameras offer superb thermal management and pre-processing functions such as: white balance, LUT for compensating lighting conditions and a blemish compensation function to ensure the highest image quality for plate reading and vehicle identification.
The cameras are supported by JAI’s SDK and Control Tool or can use third-party software compliant with the GigE Vision and GenICam standards.
Dimensions (HxWxL): 55 x 55 x 55 mm.
