BM-500GE OP22-5-1

The BM-500GE, OP22-5-1 is a GigE Vision compliant camera offering 5 megapixel resolution and a “B Series” cubic form factor. The OP22-5-1 designation indicates that the camera has been certified for operation across an extended temperature range of -40ºC to +65ºC, making it capable of withstanding harsh field environments (standard temperature range is -5ºC to +45ºC).

The camera utilizes the Sony ICX625 CCD and operates at 15 frames/second in continuous mode even with a 5 megapixel resolution, thanks to a well-crafted analog front end design. Partial scan and binning modes are also provided.

The camera offers superb thermal management and pre-processing functions such as: white balance, LUT for compensating lighting condition and a blemish compensation function.

The JAI GigE SDK package contains all software components required for easily integrating the camera into vision applications. The SDK also contains the JAI control tool and a highly efficient filter driver.
