In industrial machine vision JAI holds the industry’s largest installed base of high performance video cameras which are about to transition to digital products. JAI is a leading provider of cameras to traffic applications such as open road tolling and speed control. JAI also has long lasting partner relationship to key US defense system integrators.
To capture the growth of the Americas market, we are looking for a Sales Manager to join the sales effort for cameras sold out of our U.S. office located in San Jose, CA. This position reports to the Executive Vice President of Sales.
Main areas of responsibility are:
The position is an addition to the Americas sales department which comprises a strong team of direct key account/area sales managers, a channel manager, as well as a technical support department and sales administration. This position requires a passionate individual who demonstrates initiative, takes ownership for project work, and exhibits a high level of personal leadership, conviction and spirit of innovation. This unique role will be responsible for project concept and sales development. The ideal candidate will have both - experience in applications engineering and sales experience that is self-sufficient, organized, and detail oriented. Sales experience should include solution development and creative problem solving. Solution-based sales experience is strongly preferred as this is a highly technical sales role.
