JAI’s advanced camera technology is used by companies building a wide range of systems for digital pathology, medical microscopy, blood & DNA anlsysis, ophthalmology, and many other medical imaging applications.

These systems help doctors in patient diagnostics, life sciences research, fundoscopic eye examinations, endoscopy, and a variety of intra-oral applications, to name a few.

Depending on the application, JAI cameras offer critical imaging technology, such as the combination of color accuracy and spatial precision found in our 3-CCD color cameras. Or our selection of UV-sensitive cameras for cosmetic skin examination, dental inspection, and other specialized tasks. And our line cameras with large format, high sensitivity CCDs, developed to provide accurate, high resolution images under very low light conditions.

In adition, JAI's machine vision cameras play a key role in the manufacturing of precision medical devices such as surgical appliances, precision instruments and contact lenses. JAI cameras are incorporated into complete vision systems for checking dimensions, identifying production defects, and ensuring correct assembly.
