JAI SDK and Control Tool
The JAI SDK and Control Tool is a fully GigE Vision and GenICam compliant software package that allows quick and easy integration of all of JAI's GigE Vision cameras.

The SDK is divided into two APIs: A "plain" C-interface, with C/++ headers, for use with a majority of programming languages under Windows, and an object oriented API, based on managed Windows DLL (.NET framework 2.0).

The software suite also contains a GenICam based Control Tool, allowing quick and easy connection to all of JAI's GigE Vision compliant cameras. The Control Tool allows evaluation of cameras, without the need for generating program code. JAI's GigE Vision filter driver is also included with the software package.

Camera Control Tools
All of JAI's Camera Link cameras, as well as a majority of the analog cameras, have software control.
The camera control tools can be downloaded, free of charge, from the downloads section or from the related information links found on the individual camera product pages.

RM/TM-series GigE Vision Cameras
Customers of JAI's RM and TM-series cameras, which carry model numbers beginning with RM, RMC, TM, or TMC, can be optionally configured to run the Pleora iPORT GigE firmware engine. This can be used to provide backwards compatibility with GigE applications and environments developed before the final GigE Vision standards were ratified. This configuration must be requested at the time of order.
