JAI visual fingerprint technology uses special pattern recognition techniques, making it plate style independent so that no training is required, even for new styles of plates. JAI visual fingerprint technology is ideal for non-LPR readable plates e.g. vehicles with bent plates or with a tow bar covering part of the plate.

This technology, combined with JAI LPR, delivers state-of-the-art performance and is used around the globe by JAI customers for a broad spectrum of ITS applications including electronic toll collection, speed enforcement and congestion charging.
