Complete range of GigE Vision cameras launched as one family:	You have the choice of more than 16 different models based on different CCD sensors, with resolution ranging from VGA to 16 million pixels, all with the same interface and functionality, backed up by the same Software Development Kit. It is therefore easy to scale a solution with regards to resolution, frame rate and feature set, with cameras from the same manufacturer.
Higher frame rate:	Higher frame rate results in higher throughput in the application. Many of our cameras make use of multiple-tap sensors to achieve higher frame rate. The C3 Compact series features cameras operating faster than the orignial specification. JAI has over the years developed circuit designs that allow cameras to operate at higher frame rate than the standard specification, without sacrificing image quality.
Monochrome, color and prism-based versions:	Give you the choice of monochrome and color within the same basic design. Easy to change from one to the other. Prism-based 3CCD cameras offer the ultimate color fidelity. The unique 2CCD architeture provides solutions for multi-spectral imaging with ease of use.
Programmable GPIO:	Easy to interface to external factory automation equipment (like PLCs) directly to the cameras.
Opto-isolated inputs/outputs:	Allows direct connection to external factory automation equipment (such as PLCs) with galvanic separation.
Drop-in replacement for JAI analog cameras:	The C3 Compact GigE Vision family shares the same footprint as the popular JAI A-series analog cameras, making it easy to migrate to digital interface solution without the need for mechanical/optical re-design.
Rugged GigE Vision RJ-45 compatible connector with thumb-screws:	Unlike standard RJ-45 connectors used in office equipment, JAI has chosen to provide all GigE Vision camera connectors with thumb-screws. This ensures that the connectors stay securely in place even under the toughest conditions (think of robotics applications).
Common SDK for all JAI cameras:	Solutions based on JAI's SDK can accept all of JAI's GigE Vision cameras. All models in the C3 Camera Suite are 100% GigE Vision compliant and follow the GenICam standard for sef-describing cameras. This makes the solution easily scaleable, as the same program code can be used for all C3 cameras..
C3 Camera Suite - the Core Camera Concept.	All products based on the Core Camera Concept share a number of important common features/functions. One of the most important ones being the same connector type and pin-out regardless of Compact, Basic or Advanced family. This means that you have access to a broad range of cameras, ranging from VGA to up to 16 million pixels resolution from the same manufacturer, using the same interfacing and control methods. The key word is again scalability of the solution, with minimum design effort.
