JAI’s advanced camera technology is applied in a still wider range of applications in medical diagnostics and patient treatment, as well as in the manufacturing process of high-precision biomedical devices.

To help doctors in patient diagnostics, medical imaging has become an increasingly important element in a number of analytical systems such as endoscopy, microscopy and real-time x-ray imaging but also in diagnostics processes related to eye surgery, skin diseases, cell imaging and intra-oral examinations.

All of these applications rely on critical resolving power in camera technology. JAI cameras have been developed to provide accurate, high resolution images under very low light conditions.

Also in the manufacturing process of precision medical devices such as surgical appliances, precision instruments and contact lenses, JAI cameras are successfully applied in complete vision systems for checking e.g. dimensions, production defects and correct assembly.
